Operation method of bar drawdown blade coater

Bar drawdown blade coater is relatively convenient and simple to use, including several steps: switch, operation settings, bar installation, drawdown blade film thickness adjustment, Spreader.

The following is the specific operation method:

1. Switch machine

1) Power on: Connect the power supply and press the switch button to turn it on.

2) Shutdown: Press the switch button to shut down, and then disconnect the power supply.

2. Operation panel

1) Speed settings: The Spreader speed of the Film Applicator can be stepless between 0 and 250mm/s, point and click the blank box of the film speed, enter the speed value, and click OK.

2) application length settings: Film Applicator Spreader speed can be set between 0~ 400mm, click the application length blank box, enter the value, click OK.

3) Run: After setting the Spreader parameters, click "Film Applicator" to automatically scratch.

4) Reset: After the Spreader is over, click "Spreader head to return to the original position.

3, bar installation

1) Pull the L handle at both ends of the bar in the direction of the body to put the bar.

2) You can turn the L handle to the left or right again, and then turn the L handle down after placing the bar to fix it.

4, drawdown blade operation

1) Leveling drawdown blade: first tighten the knob plunger at both ends to level the drawdown blade down

2) Set the film thickness: control the film thickness through two differentiators, short press the differentiator on/OFF--SET button to start the digital display differentiator, and then long press the on/OFF--SET button to zero. Counterclockwise swirl/spin differential regulator to adjust the film thickness required for the experiment, the default unit is mm.

3) Drawdown blade cleaning: The drawdown blade adopts a clamshell design, directly turns the entire drawdown blade to the left, and then quickly wipes and cleans it with a suitable solvent and a soft rag.

5. Fixture operation

Rotate the black knobs at both ends of the fixture, there is a spring between the fixtures to eject the upper fixture, easily put the substrate on the platform, and then tighten it.

6. Spreader operation

1) Place the substrate on the Spreader table and fix it with a fixture.

2) Install the appropriate film thickness of the wire-wound drawdown bar or adjust the drawdown blade film thickness;

3) Scratch-coated sample before bar/drawdown blade;

4) Spreader speed and application length;

5) click "Run" to start scraping;

6) After scraping, lift the bar or raise the drawdown blade and remove the film sample;

7) Clean bar/drawdown blade and coating table.
